Let’s make some jewelry!

I love to make jewelry out of bits and pieces from my craft stash. I have a lovely collection of mother-of-pearl buttons, and when I paired some of the buttons up with other things, they turned into gorgeous pieces of jewelry! Above, I used some lace ribbon, painters drop cloth, buttons, and rolled rosettes to make the bracelets. The clasps can be found at Hobby Lobby or Wal-mart, in the jewelry making department.

These bracelets were made with leather straps from Hobby Lobby. Some of them are decorated pattern stencils and ink, and others with rub-on transfers from Magnolia. I really enjoyed using an old pair of my hubby’s jeans, blended with drop cloth, to make these adorable necklaces. I also used a strand of immitation pearls, to give them a touch of class! Wouldn’t these be cute with a white t-shirt and a jean jacket!

This lovely bracelet is made with a mix of mother-of-pearl and metal buttons, with shanks. I used a link bracelet to hook them to. The bracelet base, along with the O rings, can be found at Hobby Lobby or Wal-mart.
